The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Foundation of Charlotte was established in 1973 as a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization to establish a permanent fund to which tax-deductible gifts could be made. The principal of this fund is held and invested, and only the income and profits can be expended for religious, education, and charitable endeavors.
The Foundation is not directly associated with the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Charlotte, but is an independent organization whose charter is to manage, administer, and donate funds.
Foremost among the many valid personal reasons for supporting the Foundation is that your gift enables you to help our Parish and other religious, educational and charitable endeavors for generations to come. The Foundation supports a wide variety of causes, including the care of indigent, sick, poor and aged persons, and the advancement of education.
Tax laws and forms of donations change over time. The Foundation advises you to make sure you consult with a professional who is up to date on the latest regulations and that you fully understand the tax effects of your donation. If you need assistance, or have any questions, please contact a member of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, or call the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 704-334-4771.
